Account Sales Manager

Essential Functions:

  • Communicate all industry related information and data to customers that will contribute to their growth and education.
  • Analyze customer product categories and profit margins to develop plans for growth and profitability.
  • Communicate seasonal and new product information to customers daily.
  • Forecast ad and promotional volumes to all key departments.
  • Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of competition and products in each customers’ geographic region.
  • The Business Development Manager will grow Vine Line Produce’s retail grocery segment, while building a platform that sells to independent retail grocers and distributor network throughout geographic territory.
  • Attend and participate in the weekly procurement & sales meeting.
  • Customer store visitations and meetings as required.
  • Educational events as required.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent plus related specialized coursework and at least 1 year successful fresh produce wholesale or retail sales or related management experience.
  • Proficient skills in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and common E Mail systems

Schedule:

  • Monday - Friday (7:00am - 3:30pm)

Physical Demands:

  • Work in cold and wet cooler conditions for extended periods of time
  • Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Travel as needed
  • Stand or sit for long periods of time

Compensation Structure:

  • Base salary + Bonus. (Potential yearly between $80,000 - $85,000)
